Content Notifications Configuration

Configure Codyx to automatically announce when your favorite content creators go live or upload new content. Settings are managed via the Web Dashboard under the "Content Notifications" section.

Permissions Required: Codyx needs View Channel and Send Messages permissions in the channels you select for announcements. It may also need Embed Links permission if the announcements use embeds.

Twitch Notifications

  • Twitch Channel Name(s): Enter the exact Twitch channel names you want to monitor, separated by commas (e.g., channel1,anotherchannel).
  • Enable Live Notifications: Toggle this switch **on** to enable announcements when the specified Twitch channels start streaming.
  • Live Announcement Channel: Select the text channel where the "going live" messages for Twitch streams should be posted. This setting only applies if live notifications are enabled.

YouTube Notifications

  • YouTube Channel Handle/ID(s): Enter the YouTube channel handles (e.g., @channelhandle) or Channel IDs (e.g., UC...) you want to monitor, separated by commas.
  • Enable Live Notifications: Toggle this switch **on** to enable announcements when the specified YouTube channels start a live stream.
  • Live Announcement Channel: Select the text channel where the "going live" messages for YouTube streams should be posted.
  • Enable Video Upload Notifications: Toggle this switch **on** to enable announcements when the specified YouTube channels upload a new video.
  • Video Upload Announcement Channel: Select the text channel where new YouTube video upload notifications should be posted.

TikTok Notifications

Remember to save your changes on the dashboard after configuring content notifications!
