Moderation Configuration
Configure roles related to moderation actions within the Web Dashboard under the "Moderation" section.
Moderation Roles
Specify which roles have permission to use Codyx's moderation commands.
- Use the "Moderation Roles" multi-select dropdown to choose one or more roles.
- Members with these roles will be able to use commands like
/warn
,/kick
,/ban
,/mute
,/delete
, etc. (assuming these commands exist).
Users might still need the underlying Discord permissions (e.g., Kick Members, Ban Members) in addition to being assigned a moderation role here, depending on how the bot checks permissions for each command.
Protected Roles
Specify roles that should be immune to Codyx's moderation commands.
- Use the "Protected Roles" multi-select dropdown to choose one or more roles.
- Members with these roles cannot be targeted by the bot's moderation commands (e.g., they cannot be warned, kicked, banned, or muted by the bot).
- This is useful for protecting server administrators or other important roles from accidental moderation actions via the bot.
Auto-Moderation
(Details on configuring auto-moderation features, like word filters, spam detection, etc., would go here if available in the dashboard. The current panel section focuses on role permissions).
Remember to save your changes on the dashboard after configuring moderation roles!
