Emoji Management

Codyx offers a web-based Emoji Library system, allowing you to easily add emojis from a global collection to your server or even upload your own custom creations.

Access this feature via the Web Dashboard after selecting your server, usually under an "Emojis" or "Emoji Library" section.

Emoji Library Interface

The Emoji Library typically has a few sections or tabs:

  • Gallery / Global Emojis: Browse a collection of pre-made emojis available to add to your server. This section usually includes search and filtering options (e.g., by name or tags).
  • My Emojis / Server Emojis: View the custom emojis currently active on your selected Discord server.
  • Custom Emoji Creator (Optional): A dedicated section where you can upload your own image files (PNG, JPG, GIF) and give them names to create truly custom emojis tied to your account.
  • (Commands Tab - May be present but often unimplemented)

Adding Emojis from the Gallery

  1. Navigate to the "Gallery" or "Global Emojis" tab in the web panel for your selected server.
  2. Browse, search, or filter to find emojis you like.
  3. Each emoji should have an "Add" button (or similar).
  4. Clicking "Add" will attempt to add the emoji to your server.
  5. Emojis already present on your server might show as "Added" or have the button disabled.

Permissions Required: You typically need administrator permissions on the Discord server (verified by the dashboard login) to add or remove emojis.

Emoji Slots: Discord servers have limits on the number of custom emoji slots (e.g., 50 free slots, more with server boosting). The dashboard may display your current usage (e.g., "X / Y slots used"). You cannot add more emojis if your server's slots are full.

Removing Emojis from Your Server

  1. Navigate to the "My Emojis" or "Server Emojis" tab in the web panel.
  2. This lists all custom emojis currently uploaded to your server.
  3. Each emoji should have a "Remove" button.
  4. Clicking "Remove" will delete the emoji from your Discord server, freeing up a slot.

Creating Your Own Custom Emojis

If the "Custom Emoji Creator" section is available:

  1. Go to the creator section.
  2. Enter a name for your emoji (usually 2-32 characters, alphanumeric and underscores).
  3. Click the file input button and select a valid image file (PNG, JPG, or GIF) from your computer. Pay attention to file size limits (often around 256KB for Discord).
  4. Click the "Create" or "Upload" button.
  5. If successful, the emoji will be added to your personal custom emoji list.
  6. You may also see an option to delete custom emojis you've previously created.

Note: Whether custom emojis you create are automatically available on your server or need to be explicitly added via the "My Emojis" tab depends on the specific implementation.

Emoji management is handled entirely through the web dashboard. There are typically no associated Discord slash commands for adding, removing, or creating emojis.
